DSC_0602Earlier this month the students from Royal Melbourne Hospital held their Graduation Dinner with us.

Everyone felt like they were transported to another place when they entered the Conservatory.  Extravagant floral centerpieces, champagne sunrises, even potted palm trees contributed to the tropical island theme of the evening. photo 3 DSC_0574 DSC_0579 DSC_0581 DSC_0587 photo 4 photo 1DSC_0598 DSC_0599 DSC_0595

A big congratulations to you all, we hope you had a great night! xx

DSC_0681It’s no secret we love bright colours in the St Andrews Conservatory, and we are obsessed with the beautifully styled reception tables at Jarrod & Krystal’s wedding reception last month.DSC_0597 DSC_0673 DSC_0580imageTheir theme, infused with summer flair, contained bold colors and clean lines with a subtle gold elegance.  DSC_0666 DSC_0594 DSC_0682 DSC_0660Jarrod designed the menus and place cards himself, and they also created a wedding hashtag to ensure they didn’t miss any special moments throughout the day!

DSC_0606 DSC_0656 DSC_0595The theme carried right through to the suitcase for cards, and the photo board documenting important milestones in their lives together.  DSC_0618 DSC_0621 DSC_0629DSC_0627As per usual, the ladies down at Cupcake Queens created the most delicious looking (and tasting!) cupcake tower! They even supplied little boxes for the guests to take their cupcake home if they wanted to save it for later.

Congrats again Jarrod & Kyrstal xx

IMG_6187We are still swooning over the photos of Paul & Ally’s bohemian/rustic/earthy inspired wedding reception with us in October.  IMG_6189 IMG_6194Guests walked through the wrought iron gates, laced with tree branches and blooms, into the Conservatory which was almost completely illuminated by flickering candle light!IMG_6180IMG_6169 IMG_6176 IMG_6171Social Playground provided an Instagram Printer which is an amazing alternative to a photobooth (and very on trend)! The actual printer itself is sleek and modern, and we were very impressed with the quality of the printed images. If your guests don’t have Instagram, that’s ok because they provide an attendant for the whole night to take snaps and print them for you! Social Playground – you get TWO thumbs up from us!

IMG_6177Paul and Ally provided this stunning printed backdrop for the photos from the printer – the naked light bulbs outlining the hanging board created such a cool effect.
