The St Andrews Conservatory is the jewel of Melbourne’s iconic St Andrews Hotel.

By day, the brilliantly refurbished Conservatory is filled with natural light spilling from its distinctive glass roof. This feature is hung with delicate bamboo lanterns which, in the evening, illuminate the venue and give a sense of romance.
A cosy fireplace and the option of dance space add to the exceptional atmosphere and timeless style of the Conservatory. Catering to suit all your function needs and understanding your budget, this space can host up to 120 seated, and 160 cocktail style (with dance space).

Are children allowed at the venue?
Yes, children are more than welcome to attend your event held in the Conservatory. We have special pricing for children’s meals, please enquire within for further information.
What is the venue capacity?
For a seated event, we can accommodate up to 122 people with a large dance space. We can accommodate up to 140 people with no dance space.
For a cocktail/standing event, we can accommodate 160 people with a dance space.
When can I view the venue?
The best time to view the St Andrews Conservatory is generally any Saturday between 12pm and 5pm. We will be setting the room for that evening’s event and our Events Coordinator will be available to show you through and answer any queries. Appointments are essential so get in contact to book one today!
If a Saturday doesn’t suit, we can arrange an alternative appointment during the week.
Do you have onsite parking?
Parking is available along Nicholson Street which is unmetered after 6pm on Saturdays and after 12pm on Sundays.
Alternatively, the Melbourne Museum has undercover parking available which is a very short distance from us.
Can we arrange a tasting?
Absolutely! Whether it be the canape menu or our seated wedding menu we can arrange a tasting for you. Please contact us to discuss further.

Of course! We have two commercial heating and cooling units installed in the Conservatory, plus a lovely fireplace. Whatever the temperamental Melbourne weather decides to do, you will feel comfortable in the Conservatory.
